The Schweizer 300 is a 2/3 Person American made light piston Helicopter. The original model, Hughes 269 was first produced in 1956 to satisfy a demand from the US Military as a training helicopter designated the TH-55. The TH-55 was the primary training helicopter for the US Army from 1965 through to 1988 when it was replaced by the Turbine Bell Jet-ranger. The 300CBI is a modern training helicopter specifically for the training environment, emulating the characteristics of larger helicopters students will face as they progress through their careers.
