Since commencing our airborne operation, with one helicopter, between 1992 and 1996 Aeropower was commissioned to conduct long term contracts in South Africa for ESKOM.

These contracts included extensive insulator washing, Transmission spacer refurbishment and Detailed Methodical Inspections of their assets.

Since this time Aeropower has grown to a twelve aircraft operation, carrying out a wide range of power line maintenance projects worldwide. 

Aeropower is continually investing in the development of unique equipment and procedures. As specialists in the delivery of airborne power line services, we aim to provide the power industry with safer, more cost effective methods than conventional ground based operations.
