The R22 is a 2 seat American made light piston helicopter. The R22 was designed in 1979 by Frank Robinson as a means of personal transportation. The R22 was previously the most widely used helicopter in the world until being over-taken by its big brother; the R44. The R22 has sort great popularity within the Australian Mustering community.
